Greenfield Project: Java Developer

thecitysecret are looking for a Java developer to join their team in Richmond, North Yorkshire to work on their flagship Hedge Fund Platform. The work is in taking the product forward with new functionality to enhance the existing code base. The engine of the product is a variety of Java services connected by messaging and running Terracotta and SQL to manage the data.

The successful applicant will take a key development role and must be able to demonstrate excellent skills in the following key areas:-

• Java
• Design Patterns
• SQL

• Spring
• Hibernate
• Perl
• Unix
• Terracotta
• Exposure to C#/.Net
• Prior experience in the Finance industry
